Hello, I am Ms. Celeste. I have been blessed since 2014, to call Holy Cross Lutheran Academy “my home away from home”. I have enjoyed meeting new families each year and watching the kids grow. Every day here at Holy Cross Academy is a learning experience!

 

My husband Ross and I have been married since 2001. We are a blended family with seven adult children and sixteen grandchildren.  So it is easy to say that it is often someone’s birthday, graduation day or even a wedding day! It certainly keeps us young at heart!

In my spare time I enjoy quilting, sewing dresses for an organization called “Dress a Girl around the World”, kayaking and hiking. In 2015, I took my first mission trip to Uganda and served the beautiful people of that country through an organization called “Show Mercy International”.  In 2017, I returned there with fabric and sewing projects to be completed by the women who attended class each day. In January 2020, I, along with my fellow missionary friend, were able to establish the Show Mercy Sewing Center in Kaliti Village. Empowering women to learn a skill which gives them the opportunity to provide some income to support their families has been an amazing experience!  Last year we were able to donate two sewing machines to two of the women that went through the program. I look forward to returning to Uganda when God prompts me to go!

I am thankful for all the ways God has blessed my family and I am looking forward to getting to know you and your children during your time here at Holy Cross Lutheran Academy!
