I was born and raised in a small town in beautiful Minnesota. After I graduated from college with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education I took a leap of faith, accepted a teaching position and moved to California. The plan was to stay for one year. However, my short stay has now been a surprising thirty years.

My husband and I met in Palmdale, CA, on a softball team. We have three wonderful daughters. Our oldest is in the Air Force. Our middle daughter recently graduated from UC Davis and our youngest daughter attends Rocklin High.

I have been teaching since 1991. While living in California I have taught special education, third, second, first, transitional kindergarten and kindergarten. Our family moved to Rocklin from the Bay Area in 2008. We were pulled to Holy Cross Lutheran Church where we decided to become members. I have been teaching at Holy Cross Lutheran Academy since 2010. I enjoy running with our chocolate lab, gardening and yard work, and laughing with our girls.
